Sign-in problems

What to do about a wrong-password message, a two-factor code that won't verify, or a locked-out account.

Your email and password won't match

Check your email address and password carefully; both are case-sensitive. ONYX1 shows the same message, That email and password don’t match., for a wrong password and for an account an admin has deactivated, so it can't tell you which one it is. If you're sure both are right, ask whoever manages your team to check your account is still active.

Forgotten your password

Select Forgot password? on the sign-in page and follow the steps. See Your account, password and two-factor authentication for the full walkthrough.

Two-factor code won't verify

Check your phone's clock is set correctly; the code changes every 30 seconds and a drifted clock produces the wrong one. If you've lost your authenticator app and don't have your recovery codes saved, ONYX1 has no other way to verify you at sign-in today; email support@onyx1.app.

Asked to set up two-factor authentication before you can do anything

Your workspace requires two-factor authentication for everyone. This isn't a sign-in failure: finish the setup ONYX1 shows you (covered in Your account, password and two-factor authentication) and you're in.

Signed in, but sent to a billing page instead of ONYX1

Your workspace's trial has ended or a payment has failed. You can still sign in, but everyone is sent to a billing page until it's resolved. Only the owner can fix this from there.

Nobody in your workspace can sign in
