The audit log

The audit log lists every recorded action in your workspace: who did it, when, and what changed. Only the owner, admins, dispatchers and office staff can open it.

What's recorded

Actions from the app, a connected AI assistant and ONYX1's own scheduled jobs are all logged the same way, covering:

• jobs
• quotes and invoices
• leads
• customers and sites
• leave and timesheets
• clock in and clock out
• equipment and vehicles
• incidents and compliance
• Settings changes
• team changes
• data exports
• AI assistant calls (labelled AI assistant)

Sign-ins are not recorded.

Some rows have no actor: a system-decided change and any activity imported from before logging began both show a dash for Actor. Logging never blocks the action it records, so a very rare gap is possible.

Read a row

Each row shows When (how long ago, plus the exact date and time), Actor, and the Activity: a plain phrase, an entity tag such as JOB or INVOICE, and, for a change, the field that changed with its old value struck through and the new value after it.

The list shows 50 rows at a time, newest first, with Older → and ↑ Newest to page through it.

Filter

Use From and To to set a date range, Entity to narrow to one kind of record (including AI assistant for assistant activity), Actor to narrow to one person, and Action to match the start of an action's name (for example, typing "job" matches every job action). Select Filter to apply your choices or Clear to reset them.

Export to CSV

Select Export CSV to download the rows matching your current filters, up to 10,000 rows, newest first. Each row's action is exported as its underlying code (for example job.status_changed) rather than the phrase shown on screen.

Import your past activity

If your workspace has history from before the audit log existed, select Import past activity (shown in the header and, when the log is empty, in the empty state too) to reconstruct creation events for:

• jobs
• quotes
• invoices
• leads
• incidents
• variations
• equipment
• vehicles
• leave requests
• bonuses

Each event is dated from the record's own date. Imported rows carry no actor and no amounts. Importing again adds nothing already there, so it's safe to repeat.

You can't edit or delete an entry

Nothing in the audit log can be changed or removed, by any role, from the app or otherwise.
