Inventory tracks stock on hand for parts and materials, separately from the equipment and vehicle registers. Everyone can see what's in stock; the owner, admins, dispatchers, office and site supervisors manage it.
Add an item
- Open Inventory and select + New item.
- Enter the Item name and, if you use one, a SKU.
- Enter the Qty on hand and a Unit, such as "m" or "ea".
- Set a Reorder threshold. ONYX1 flags the item as low stock once quantity on hand falls to or below it.
- Select Add item.
Import a spreadsheet
- Open Inventory and select Import CSV.
- Choose a spreadsheet with a Name column (or "Item"). It can also carry SKU, Qty, Reorder, Unit, Cost and Price columns; order doesn't matter, and other columns are ignored.
- Review the items found, then complete the import.
Items already in your stock, matched by SKU or otherwise by name, are skipped rather than duplicated or overwritten.
Low stock
The Inventory page shows how many items are at or below their reorder threshold. Edit an item to adjust its threshold or top up its quantity on hand.
If something goes wrong
- No stock yet. Add your stock items, or import a spreadsheet, so the team can log parts on jobs.
