Show or hide features

Choose which ONYX1 modules appear in your workspace and which extra job views are switched on.

A module you hide drops out of everyone's menus, and its records stay where they are, so you can start simple and turn modules back on as your business grows.

Before you start

  • Only an owner can open Settings → Features.
  • Changes apply to everyone in your workspace, not just you.

Choose what shows

  1. Open Settings → Features.
  2. Make any of these changes:
    • Under Workspace mode, select Basic to hide the add-on modules that are available for your workspace. This doesn't change the separate Site reports setting under Included features. Select Advanced to show every add-on module available for your workspace.
    • Under Advanced features, turn each module on or off with its switch. A mix of on and off shows as Custom.
    • Under Included features, turn off Site reports if you don't use them.
    • Under Extra job views, turn on the views you want in the Jobs view switcher. When enabled, Board (Kanban) and Gantt chart appear there for business roles and site supervisors. Map follows this workspace setting for all roles. List and Schedule are always on.
  3. Select Save changes. ONYX1 shows Features updated.

What hiding does

Hiding a module takes its pages out of the menus and the ⌘K Jump to list for everyone, and takes its Settings page, if it has one, out of Settings. Most of its pages still open from a direct link. Its Settings page doesn't, and with Site reports hidden neither does Approvals → Reports: those go back to the list. Nothing is deleted, and your plan still includes the module: turn it back on and it returns with everything where you left it.

Hiding AI & integrations doesn't disconnect AI assistants that are already connected.

When a module isn't available

If a module's row shows Upgrade instead of a switch, select it. If your plan includes that module, the upgrade page explains that ONYX1 needs to switch it on and offers Email support@onyx1.app. If your plan doesn't include it, the page names the plan that does. See Plans and what each includes.

If no add-on modules are available to your workspace yet, Workspace mode doesn't appear and Settings shows None of the add-on modules are on for your workspace. Select Settings → Plan & billing to manage your plan. If ONYX1 manages billing for your workspace, select Email support@onyx1.app instead.
