Read your weekly hours, fix a line, explain a shift nobody watched end, and hand your week in for approval.

Everything you clock ends up on your weekly timesheet. This is your own week: the hours you worked, what to do about a shift nobody watched end, and how to hand the week in.

Before you start

Open Timesheets from the menu. If your role works at a desk (owner, admin, dispatcher or office), you land on Team first; select My timesheet to see your own hours. Everyone else's Timesheets page is their own week from the start.

Your week

The top card shows the week, a status pill (draft, submitted, approved or rejected) and your total hours. A rejected week also carries a Sent back banner with the reason, described below. Each line under This week shows a day, its clock-in and clock-out, any lunch, and a chip if it needs your attention:

  • manual if you or someone else added the line by hand
  • penal if it is marked as paid at the higher rate
  • needs your correction if nobody watched the shift end (see below)

While the week is still a draft, select Fix beside a line to change its clock-out, lunch or note, or delete a line you added by hand. Use Add a line if you forgot to clock in.

If a shift nobody watched end

Some lines carry a note about how they closed:

  • closed by the system: nobody watched it end, so the finish time is a guess.
  • closed by an admin: a colleague closed it for you, with their reason.
  • answered from the prompt: you closed it yourself from the still-on-site prompt, after the fact.

These hours still count either way. Select Fix the times to confirm the times are right, or change them, then These are the right times. If the line has a job on it, you can instead select Explain and say what was different (for example, "Left early, dentist"); this keeps the times as they are and adds your note for whoever approves the week.

Hand your week in

Once your lines are right, select Submit week for approval. The week's lines lock as soon as you do.

If your business sends the week back, it shows Sent back with the reason. Select Reopen, fix the lines, and submit again. An earlier week that is sent back can only be reopened by the office; ask them.

If your business doesn't need timesheets from you, the page says You don't need to submit timesheets. Any hours you clock are still recorded on your jobs.

Past weeks and approved hours

Every week you've handed in sits under Past weeks; open one to read it back. Once a week is approved, it shows an Approved hours card with your ordinary, overtime and penal hours (no pay figures here).

If your role reviews other people's hours, see Review and approve timesheets for the Team view and the approval queue.
